Though most closely tied to Japan, origami also has roots in China and Europe. In Fact, the word 'origami' taken from the japanese words for paper (gami) and 'to fold' is now used as an inclusive term for all paper-folding practices, regardless of their culture or origin.  Different cultures have shaped the delightful art of paper folding in different ways, and it is both the similarities and differences between these artistic endeavours that Erstwilder has captured beautifully in it's Origami-inspired collection. With over 20 traditional and contemporary Origami designs skillfully rendered as resin and enamel wearagle art, this release is a tribute to the fun, engaging and constructive practice of paper-folding.
